Yalin Wellington Krause, went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2021, at the age of 45. Yalin was a beloved father to Camden Wellington Krause. He was a loving son to Greg and Linda, brother to Yvette and Anderson.

Yalin is survived by his son Camden Krause; father and mother, Gregory and Linda Krause; sister Yvette Coffman and brother Anderson Krause; nephew Hayden Coffman; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins, Brian and Jean Krause, Kevin and Cheryl Krause, Karlene Krause, Karen Krause, Traci Krause, Stephanie Searor, Amanda VanEver, Lauren Stevens, Julie Riggs, Matthew Krause, Nathan Krause, Mitchell Krause and Garrett, Krause. Yalin is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Floyd and Virginia Krause, Robert and Wanda Wellington.

Yalin loved to travel and cook. He graduated from Paw Paw High School and then went on to study food preparation and management at Secchia Institute for Culinary Education. He worked in many local restaurants, fulfilling his dreams of cooking, enjoying nature, and traveling. He proudly worked at Yellowstone National Park and Everglades National Park. Yalin continued to work at restaurants in Alabama, Georgia, and Texas. After moving back to Michigan, he became the cafeteria Manager at Mattawan Middle School. Excited to go to work every day, he loved interacting with the students. Yalin then moved to Kalkaska, Michigan, where he helped design and operate the Great Lakes Donut Food Truck, which continues to serve the best chicken (using Yalin's own recipe) and donuts in Michigan! When not in the kitchen, he loved the mountains and spending time on the water. Forever in our hearts, Yalin was a beautiful soul and great friend to so many.

A Private Memorial Mass for Yalin will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, In lieu of flowers, the Krause family has requested that Yalin's memory be honored through and Educational Trust for the benefit of his son, Camden.
