Died Tuesday morning January 28, 2020 at his residence. William was born October 12, 1927 in Battle Creek, Michigan a son of William and Evonne (Verbeck) Harrison. He had been a lifelong Climax resident and was employed with Clark Equipment for over 30 years, retiring in 1983. William was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene J. (Simmons) Harrison on August 12, 2003; a daughter, Deborah Parrish; and 3 brothers, Leslie and Melburn Greenman and Thomas Gross. He is survived by 2 children, Cindy (John) Grabill of Circleville, OH and Gregory (Sandi) Harrison of Climax; a son-in-law. Lyle Parrish of Scotts; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Diane Robertson of Kalamazoo; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o'clock Friday, January 31st at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 205 East Maple St, Climax, MI 49034. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, January 30th at the chapel. Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice.
