HEIMAN, Steven
Kalamazoo Steven, age 55, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, May 9, 2014. He was born July 9, 1958 in Kalamazoo, the son of Gordon and Mary Bosworth Heimann and had been a resident of the Kalamazoo area for many years. On November 26, 1988, in the Oakwood Bible Church, he was united in marriage to Carol Gillett, who survives. He is also survived by their children, Jennifer Stephen Somers, Kevin Heimann and Elizabeth Heimann, all of Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, Saphira Krone; and a sister, Ruth Long of Dallas, TX. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14th at 11:00 AM in the Berean Baptist Church, 7813 S. 12th St., with Pastors Bill Abernathy and Steve Nichols, officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock Twp. A visitation is planned for Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
