Scotty Elwood Wilson
Obituary
Passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at his home in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Scotty was born on February 18, 1959, to Mildred May Gigl and the late Dorman E. Wilson, Sr., in Cooper Township, Michigan. Early in his life, Scotty took some college courses after graduating high school, and went on to do many things early in his adult life. On July 26, 1980, Scotty married the love of his life, Ruth Smith. They enjoyed life together until Ruth’s passing in 2011.
Scotty is survived by his mother, Mildred; children, Rita Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, Zacary Wilson; brother, Dorman E. Wilson, II, and three grandchildren. Preceding him in passing is his wife, father, and brother, Kenneth W. Wilson.
In accordance with Scotty’s wishes, Cremation will take place and services will be announced at a later date.
