Roland R. Russell

Roland Rex Russell passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on April 21, 1931, to the late Lloyd R. and Buelah (Teft) Russell. Roland served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy. He married JoAnn VanDyke on October 20, 1951, and she preceded him in death in 2017. Roland was retired from Upjohn as a lab technician and was a longtime member of Reformed Churches of America where he served as Elder and Deacon. He enjoyed playing Skipbo, as well as bird watching, fishing, and trapping.

Roland is survived by his daughters, Julie (Bill) Salter and Dawn Stott; 2 grandchildren, Aaron (Erin) Kricher and Angela Clark; 5 great grandchildren, Isabel, Addie, and Emma Kircher and Olivia and Carly Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, JoAnn Russell.
