Richard Hamilton Moore

Richard Hamilton Moore, age 71, of Kalamazoo passed away on November 23, 2020. He was born October 1, 1949 in Kalamazoo to the late Richard and Beatrice (Hamilton) Moore.

Richard served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1974. He worked for Hercules, Inc. as a truck driver for nearly 30 years.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry (Tetiana) Prickett of Indianapolis; sister, Betsy (Brian) Reinhardt; and several nieces and nephews.

Richard was an avid treasure hunter and spent many years honing his craft. He enjoyed teaching others the hobby of metal detecting and was admired by many in the community.

Private visitation and graveside services will be held for Richard. He will be laid to rest in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan with Full Military Honors.
