Obituary
Randy Lee Nussell of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the age of 53. Randy was born on January 8, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Harold and Vivian (Thornburgh) Nussell. For the last 10 years, Randy provided maintenance services to Hearthside Apartments of Portage.
Randy enjoyed playing drums, riding his motorcycle, and playing video games. He had a knack for carpentry and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Randy was affectionately known for being a big teddy bear.
Surviving Randy is his wife, Jenifer (Dunn) Nussell; daughter, Ryleigh Nussell; step-children, Holly Anderson and Bradly Strasser; grandchildren, Parker, Levi, Dominic, and Emmalynn Anderson; siblings, Kim (Alan) Hellstrom and Mark (Susan) Nussell. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Vivian (Thornburgh) Nussell.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the The Salvation Army, 1700 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo MI 49001, with funeral services held at 11:00 am.
