Norman A. Jensen, 85 of Climax, died peacefully at home on June 15, 2022. He was born on June 10, 1937 and was the adopted son of the late Sigvald and Freda (Baker) Jensen of Weeping Water, NE. Norman graduated high school in 1956 and attended college at the University of Nebraska before finding his true passion as a welder. Norm was employed by Kellogg Co. of Battle Creek for 35 years. He worked part-time on his 60-acre farm and for Pipeliners Union Local 798 of Tulsa OK. He was a true "Do-It-Yourself" type of man and could be found confidently taking on any project no matter how large or how small. Norman married his first wife, Sylvia (Meyeley) in 1960 and was preceded in death by her in 1974. On January 24, 1981, he married Dorothy Bennett Devantier in Paw Paw. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children Greg (Sara) Jensen, Phillip Joe Jensen, Raymond Jensen, Duane Jensen, Jill Moreci, Deanne Pape, and Timothy (Adrian) Devantier; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; his brother Raymond (Gwen) Jensen of Salinas, CA. Norman was preceded in death by his sister, Sara Marquardt. Services for Norman will be held on Monday, June 27 at the Climax United Methodist Church, 133 E. Maple St, Climax, MI 49034. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the fellowship hall, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 p.m. and a reception from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can made to the Fulton Christian Church or the Scotts United Methodist Church.
