Mark Allen Dingman

Passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2022. Mark was born January 22, 1965, in Kalamazoo, the son of Ralph and Lenora (Rowe) Dingman.

On April 11, 1965, Mark was baptized at Haven Reformed Church, where he became a full member in 1986. On June 6, 1991, Mark graduated from the John F. Kennedy Center. From there, he entered the Edison Center day program, where he learned many interesting things and made life-long friends.

Mark had the opportunity to travel with both his family and his friends, having many adventures along the way. Mark enjoyed many activities including Boy Scouts and bowling. He especially liked riding horses at the Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center.

But most of all, Mark loved his family. The highlights were family get-togethers and growing up with his nieces and nephews.

Although Mark could no longer attend church, he retained his Christian faith throughout his life. His loss is painful, but it is a comfort to know he has been welcomed into Heaven by his Savior and reunited with Mom and Dad. Mark lived a very full life and is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Charles and Philip; a sister, Christine; and his sisters-in-law Naomi Dingman and Becki Dingman. He is survived by his brother and sister, Douglas Dingman and Becky Fillmore (Todd Horst), and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may meet the family from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1 with Pastor Keith Lohman. A light reception will follow services and burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Park Place Assisted Living or Grace Hospice.
