Marilyn Joyce (Betterly) Birdsall

Passed away peacefully Saturday morning, March 28, 2020. Marilyn was born March 7, 1942 in Battle Creek, MI the daughter of George and Margaret (Kipp) Betterly. She worked for several years at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in the housekeeping department. She was united in marriage Robert W. Jackson, Jr. for 26 years, who survives. On October 10, 1997 she was united in marriage to Albert Birdsall, who preceded her in death on June 20, 2000. Marilyn was also preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter, Kristen in 1969. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Dawn) Jackson; grandchildren, Austin (Lauren) Jackson, Alyssa Jackson; great-grandson, Ellis; sisters, Nancy (Fred) Reeves, Susan (Steve) Abbott; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or services. Private burial will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to NAMI Michigan, 401 S. Washington Square, Ste. 104, Lansing, MI 48933.
