On May 25, 2022, Lynette Rocha passed away suddenly. She was a beloved mother, partner, friend, and sister. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Rocha, her father Joe Rocha, and her nephew Chace Rocha. Lynette is survived by her son Steven Harmon and her partner in life Steven Esman. She was the youngest of seven siblings, Lisa Buchanan, Jon Rocha, Joseph Rocha, Laurie Rocha-Drenth, Lana Stier, and Leiann Rocha, and many nieces and nephews. Lynette was a single mom who raised her son by herself. She saw him graduate from high school, get a good job and promoted to a leadership position. She was her son's biggest fan. They were inseparable. For 26 years, her life was shared with Steve Esman, and they made many wonderful memories together. Lynette was born in Kalamazoo and rarely had a reason to travel outside of the city limits. She will be buried next to her mom in Kalamazoo. She was the youngest sister and talked with her siblings daily. She was part of the power of five because the five sisters were stronger together. Lynette believed that family was all important and was often helping her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Friends may visit with her family on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Noon.
