John grew up with seven brothers and sisters on the family farm up in Suttons Bay, MI. He graduated from Suttons Bay high school in 1971. John was a "gruff, shoot from the hip" kind of guy, but he was fair and as long as you told the truth and did your job you were okay with him. He will be
greatly missed by his family and friends.

John's wishes were to be cremated and due to the continuing covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of his life will be held sometime this fall.

Arrangements were entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S Ninth Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
