Jerry passed with his daughter and grandchildren by his side on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at his daughter's home in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jerry was the son of Merrill and Violet Marie Kingsbury. He was the second youngest of seven children.

Jerry was born and raised and was a lifetime resident of Kalamazoo. He was a school bus driver for Kalamazoo Public Schools for over 30 years. Jerry had a big smile and an infectious laugh. He was a jokester, kept everyone laughing and always was willing to share a great, humorous story!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Violet Kingsbury and brothers: Brad and Gary Kingsbury.

He is survived by: Daughter, Ella Thrash; Grandson, DJ (Martika) Thrash, Grandaughter, Triste Thrash, Grandsons, Elijah and Isiah Thrash; Siblings: Bob, Duane, John Kingsbury and Pam (Kingsbury) Ruddick; many nieces, nephedws and great-nieces, great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the home of Jerry's sister (Pam) on Sunday, June 27th, 2021 at 1:00pm. Please bring a dish to pass. 3174 E. V Avenue, Vicksburg.

The family is requesting that in lieu of any flowers, donations be made (payable to Pam Ruddick or Ella Thrash). Donations will be put toward a memorial stone for Jerry.
