James Curtis Gardner Jr. Age 65, passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice on July 22, 2021. He was born December 27, 1955 in Hastings, Michigan to the late James Sr and Rhea Gardner. James graduated from Lakewood High School and then served in the National Guard and in the United States Army. He worked many factory jobs and at McDonald's for many years.
James married Marianne Gardner in August of 1991. Together they had two children, Adam and Sarah Gardner. He is also survived by his brothers: Steve and Eric Gardner as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in honor of James to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service for James will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 3:00pm at the Comstock Community Center Pavilion 6330 King Hwy. Kalamazoo, MI 49048.
