Ina Mae (Bisel) Frank
Obituary
Ina Mae Frank, age 86 of Kalamazoo formerly of East Leroy, died at her home at The Vineyard on May 7, 2023. She was born on August 9, 1936, in Marshall, Michigan, the daughter of Wesley and Leota (Cutting) Bisel. Ina was a graduate of Marshall High School in 1952. She was an accountant bookkeeper for HR Block for many years. Ina also enjoyed sewing and had an upholstery business and made wedding gowns. She grew a love for quilting. Ina also became very active attending the Gospel Barn in Hillsdale. Her quilts were beloved at the Gospel Barn auction.
Her family includes her sons: Ron (Sue) Dean, George (Evette) Frank, and Brendon (Shannan) Frank; her grandchildren: Jessica (Eric) Dark, Adam Frank, Jacob Frank, Britnie (Beau) Langs, Taylor Hallam, Ella Frank, and Alyssa Frank; her great-grandchildren: Summer Frank, Ellie Frank, Mason Langs, and Myah Langs; her brothers and sisters: Fred (Emma) Bisel, Ellen Lyttle, Georgia Ackley, and Joe (Joyce) Bisel; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jim Dean, her grandson Troy Frank, Jr., her sister Alice Cavinder, and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Ackley and Gale Lyttle.
A private service and burial were held.
