Obituary
Gretchen Baker, age 92, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was born November 30, 1930. Gretchen was married to Bill Baker for 53 years, and was the mother of two sons, Alex (Terri) Baker and David (Charlotte) Baker; and the grandmother of five, Blake, Brooke, Jakob, Alexandra and Arik.
After working in the Kalamazoo Public School system for over 25 years, Gretchen and Bill enjoyed a retirement full of travel and leisure. After Bill died in July of 2012, Gretchen enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, always bringing smiles and great stories.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for Summer 2023. Arrangements entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 622 S Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
