Gerold “Jerry” A. Harvey, age 71 of Lawton, died at home on November 19, 2022. He was born on April 10, 1951, in Kalamazoo, the son of Marvin and Vida May (Blue) Harvey. Jerry attended Lawrence Vocational Center and graduated from Mattawan High School. He was a mechanic for Luke’s Spring Service. On April 2, 1971, he married Jo Hacht and they shared 51 years together. His family includes his wife, Jo Harvey; his sons: John Harvey and James Harvey; his brother Norm (Hazel) Harvey; his sister-in-law Sally Harvey; his brother-in-law Richard Worthington; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Marvin and David (Marie), and his sister Evelyn Worthington. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. A memorial will be held on his birthday in the spring. Donations in memory of Jerry may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 2211 N Oak Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60707.
