Kalamazoo, MI Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the age of 82. Delores was born in Detroit on June 27, 1932, the daughter of the late August Draft and Levina Jones Walters. She was a caring person who enjoyed volunteering with the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society. Among her hobbies, she enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Earl Britten Jr.; three children, Gary and Wendy Britten of Comstock, Karen and Bob Pelfresne of Otsego and Kathleen and Angelo Kuykindoll of Arizona; one granddaughter, Penny and Joe Hargroves of Kalamazoo; and many nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Walters, one sister, Dorothy Reardon and one infant brother. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007, where the funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Schmidt will officiate with interment in East Cooper Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
