Connie met her loving husband, Clancy Jones of 52 years, while working as a job-site coordinator for PNHS. They married in 1969 and soon after celebrated the births of sons Sean and Matthew.
Connie was a passionate educator for over 40 years. She spent her 33-year teaching career at Portage Public Schools, primarily teaching computers and keyboarding at Portage Northern and then at KVCC for the next 10 years. After retiring from teaching, she seamlessly moved into the role of grandma to her three granddaughters.
