Charles Ray Allen

Charles " Charlie" Allen passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, February 19, 2021. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Ralph (Nancy) Allen on September 27, 1958.

Charlie is survived by his mom, Nancy and brothers; Danny (Jan) Allen, Mark (Gail) Allen and Steven (Dennitta Hill) Allen. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph and brother, Albert.

Charlie loved his family, friends and life. His love for bikes, guns, fishing and hunting are just a few things he will be remembered for. He was always jolly and loved to make others happy too.In the event of anyone's need, Charlie was always the first one to be there, ready to help and the last one to leave. During the Christmas season, something he enjoyed most was dressing up as Santa; the young kids in his life knew him as 'Santa' or 'uncle Santa'. He truly enjoyed hearing the wishes from all the kids.

Per Charlie's wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Robinson Cemetery in Gobles at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Charlie's honor to Loaves and Fishes or the ASPCA.
