Carolyn Ann (Dingman) Sieting

February 9, 1955 ~ March 30, 2021 (age 66)

Carolyn Ann Sieting, age 66, passed away suddenly on March 30, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. Carol was born February 9, 1955 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Charles and Betty Dingman. She was a 1973 graduate of Portage Central High School and then attended Davenport College studying transcription. Carol worked at Borgess Hospital for many years. She loved her job as she cheerfully checked in patients for their procedures.

Carol loved her family fiercely. Her dearly loved family includes two sons: Jeremy (Megan) VanLoo and Jared (Jennifer) Van Loo; grandson Parker; granddaughter Maddison; her parents Charles and Betty Dingman; sister Bobbi (Dave) VanSweden; three brothers: Chuck (Kris) Dingman, Tom (Pat) Dingman and Terry (Terri) Dingman; several nieces and nephews; her cat Lorilie; and many special friends.

Carol loved life and always had a smile on her face. She loved the Detroit Lions, stock car racing especially when her son Jeremy was racing, the sunshine in Florida especially in Key West. The 80's music was her thing as she was always a cheerleader for the rock band "Hair Mania". She most recently enjoyed the cabin up north, which she was very excited and planning to return to this summer.

Cremation will take place and a private visitation has taken place. A public memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be announced at a later date for this summer. Memorial contributions in Carol's life may be directed to SPCA or Kzoo Cat Café and Rescue.
