Annetta Mae (Schuring) Corstange

Annetta Mae Corstange of Portage, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 10, 2021 just three days before she would have turned 93 years old. She was born on January 13, 1928 daughter to the late Harm and Trina Schuring.

Annetta was preceded in death by her beloved husband Engel Corstange, her brother, John Schuring, sister, Jane Curtiss and daughter-in-law Sharon Corstange. She is survived by her sons: David (Ilene) Corstange, James (Jill) Corstange and Timm Corstange; 5 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Annetta was a talented seamstress, always making or fixing things for others. One of her enjoyments was dressing up in her Dutch costume and as Mrs. Santa Clause for events. Family time meant everything to Annetta, she cherished spending time with her family and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Due to gathering limitations at this time, a private graveside service will be held, and interment will take place at Central Portage Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or First Reformed Church of Portage.
