Amber Marie (Axe) Roberts

Amber M. Roberts (Axe), age 40, passed away October 13, 2021. She was born July 11, 1981 in Kalamazoo to Theadore R. Axe and Debra A. Cunningham.

Amber attended Portage Public Schools. She loved to go on shopping trips with her Aunt Bebe (Victoria Oviatt). She also enjoyed singing karaoke and attending family get togethers.

Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thurman and Patricia Axe, and Charles and Wanda Anderson.

She is survived by her sons, Donté and Dylan Roberts; parents, Theadore R. (June) Axe and Debra A. (Michael) Cunningham; twin sister, Angela M. Axe; brother, Andrew T. Axe; nephews, Gavyn, Dakota, Jayden, and Joshua; niece, Layla; step great-grandmother, Jeanette Cunningham; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Amber's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or a mental health charity of one's choosing.
