Yitao Weng

Passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 11, 2023 at her home. Yitao was born in 1948 in Shanghai, China the daughter of Shuguan WENG and Jingru TAO. Yitao taught high school in China for many years until she came to the United States in 1985. She liked gardening and cooking, and enjoyed drama and love stories.

In 1976 Yitao was united in marriage to her loving husband, Huizhong “Joe” Zhou, who survives. Also surviving is her son, Hanson Zhou; sister and brothers Yishi, Yishan, Yiran and Yinong; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family on April 17, Monday from 12:30-1:00pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 411 East Centre, Portage, MI 49002 where services will be held at 1:00pm.
