Wanda Jane Farmer

FARMER, Mrs. Wanda J. Lee Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday afternoon November 3, 2006. Wanda was born June 6, 1936 in Comstock, Michigan a daughter of Lihue and Beatrice Horn Cox. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed as a beautician at Crosstown Parkway Apartments for 28 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Paw Paw; and the Topps Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kendall Cox; a son-in-law, Harley Gettys; and 2 grandsons, Jonathan Gettys and Larry Cahow Gettys. She is survived by 4 children, Terry Lee of Kalamazoo, Kathleen Gettys and Thomas Sandy Lee all of Mattawan, and Bob Lee of Kalamazoo; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Carolynn W.C. Thorne of Edmore, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 1 o?clock Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Paw Paw, 721 Pine St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Interment will be in South Portage Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Kidney Foundation.
