Teresa Boyer

May 30, 1958 — January 2, 2023

Kalamazoo, Michigan

Teresa Elizabeth Boyer, born May 30th, 1958, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Vicksburg, MI passed away January 02, 2023, in Kalamazoo, MI after a brief illness. Teresa was born to Phil & Sue Boyer and had twelve siblings. She grew up in the Mattawan area where she attended school and raised her children. Teresa was a dedicated employee and worked in manufacturing at W.L. Molding in Portage for most of her adult life. Her children, Shelly and Jesse were the light of her life. They both went on to bless "Grandma TT" with four beautiful granddaughters - Penelope, Daylen, Lucy and Annistyn. Teresa lived life simply and she saw the good in each and every person she met. Even though the past few years had been a difficult time for her, Teresa loved everyone she knew endlessly, always with a big smile and an exuberant "hey!" any time she saw you. Her loss will be felt significantly amongst her family and friends, but especially her children, grandchildren, and their pets. Teresa's memory will live on in the moments spent simply enjoying nature, going to the lake or spending time with family.

Teresa is survived by her daughter Shelly (Matt) VanKrimpen, son Jesse Boyer; siblings Lawrence Boyer, Rosemary Blade, John Boyer, Mark Boyer, Nick Boyer, Kelly Sehy, and Maria Allen; her granddaughters, Penelope Brewer, Daylen Brewer, Lucy Rhodes and Annistyn Boyer; many nieces, nephews and two lifelong friends, Delilah and Pam Bolden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Susanna Boyer as well as her siblings Steve, Phil, Liz, Eleanor, and Kathy.

Cremation has taken place and a funeral Mass will be held at St. Monica Catholic Church in Kalamazoo. Private interment will take place at a later date. Family and close friends are invited to a luncheon immediately following the Mass.
