Portage, MI Loving mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Tendercare of Portage. Age 86. She was born in Kalamazoo on February 24, 1927 the daughter of the late John Katzenberger and Ruth Brown Katzenberger. She is survived by her children, Robert Zimmerman and Mike Vicki Zimmerman both of Portage; and three grandchildren, Robert Zimmerman Jr. of Florida and Tony Zimmerman and Nick Zimmerman, both of Portage. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Russell. The family would like to thank the caring and loving staff at Tendercare of Portage and Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue. Interment will follow the visitation in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
