Of Portage Died June 5, 2013. Russell was born October 12, 1957 in Charlotte, MI to Robert and Beverly Brown Prescott. Russell is survived by his mother, Beverly Floyd Sager; brothers and sisters, Barbara Dale Anderson, Donald Joyce Prescott, Melvin Prescott, Lynette Sager and Raymond Sager; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Prescott; and brother, Robert Prescott, Sr. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6-8pm and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 10:30am. Committal service will follow at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI, at 1:00pm. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Nature Center.
