Robert Glenn McClelland, age 87, died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of December 16, 2022. Robert was born in Evansville, Indiana, and resided in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area for several years and most recently a resident at Friendship Village.

Robert's entrepreneurial pursuits included a career in mechanical engineering and ownership of a bleacher repair business. His leisure activities included traveling abroad, sail boating, art painting, home remodeling and carpentry.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Judy (nee Smith) of 37 years and her daughter Elspeth (nee Coats) and son Stephen. Robert's surviving children are Timothy, Thomas, Tamara, Ted, Mark and Jennifer (nee Abrahamsson). He is survived by his sister Marilyn (nee Lang) and is preceded in death by his brother James, father Wilbur (Glenn) and mother Louise (nee Kellogg). He was the proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Friendship Village, 1400 North Drake Rd., Kalamazoo, with Dr. Matt Weiler officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to the Celiac Disease Foundation at https://celiac.org/donate/ or mailed to 20350 Ventura Blvd Ste 240, Woodland Hills, CA 91364.
