MAXAM, Michelle
of Paw Paw Passed away January 9, 2010 at Bronson Hospital. She was born November 21, 1959 in Kalamazoo to Willis and Sue Ann Smith Richardson. Michelle was married to Bradley Maxam on June 10, 1989, who survives. She was employed with the Kalamazoo Regency Psychiatric Hospital for nearly 20 years. She loved her family and her home pets and was active in 4-H for many years, as a leader, making and teaching crafts to the kids. She enjoyed the farm animals, especially the goat kids that came every spring, which were her favorite. Also surviving Michelle are her children, Heather M. and Lillian J. Maxam, both of Paw Paw; her parents; brother, Michael Laura Richardson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl Norene Maxam; and several nieces and nephews. No visitation is scheduled. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Memorials in Michelle's name may be directed to the children.
