Mary Ann (Clark) Law

Mary Ann (Clark) Law passed away December 14, 2022, at 92 years of age.  Mary Ann was born on October 10, 1930.  She was the daughter of Roy and Helena (Luteyn) Clark and has lived in the Kalamazoo area her entire life.

On November 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Law, Jr. who proceeded her in death in 2003.  They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in November of 2003.

After their retirement, Mary Ann and Lloyd loved to travel and spent many years travelling throughout the 48 states, including Canada and Mexico.  They also spent seven winters in Florida where they developed lots of friendships and organized the social functions at Lazy Days Park.

Surviving is one sister, Janet Corstange, two daughters, Karen Daniel and Karel (Jeff) Shadley, three grandchildren, Ann Ponicki, Tim Daniel and Todd (Melissa) Shadley, and six great-grandchildren Makaela Thornton, Isabelle Thornton, Michael Daniel, Madelyn Shadley, Greyson Shadley and Owen Shadley (born on January 7, 2023).  She had been looking forward to meeting him. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband and sons Kerry and Kevin.

She attended Greenwood Reformed Church where she was a choir member for many years.  She loved to sew, knit, write letters and read.  She also bowled for many years.  After high school she was a secretary at Hammond Machinery.
