Plainwell Marie died Monday, October 25, 2010, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born April 1, 1923, in Kendall, MI, a daughter of Carl and Ruth Sunlin Phillips. She retired from Allied Paper Company where she had worked for over 31 years. Marie was preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Mabel J. Revis and Mildred M. French, and a daughter in law, Patricia Campbell. Surviving are: a son, David A. Campbell of Plainwell; a daughter, Jeanne M. Lockwood of Plainwell; six grandchildren, Paul Campbell, Gail Campbell, John Patty Horn, Michelle Scott Gates, David Lockwood and Joseph Lockwood; six great-grandchildren Ashley Gates, Breanna Gates, Nathan Campbell, Shayne Lockwood, Haylee Lockwood and Zachary Horn; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 Friday afternoon at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Pastor Jim Dyke, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park will follow services.
