Marcia A. (Naumowicz) Gaskell

Passed away Sunday afternoon, September 3, 2023 at Rose Arbor. Mickie was born January 11, 1933 in Wooster, Maine, the daughter of Chester and Grace (Brown) Naumowicz. She attended the University of Maryland and was initiated into Alpha Xi Delta fraternity on February 18, 1951, proudly maintaining that membership for 72 years.  Mickie worked in the insurance industry for Shannon and Luchs for 14 years before her retirement, and after went on to volunteer at the Portage Senior Center, Portage Central Middle School and served as the president of the HOA for her condominium association.

On April 24, 1954 she was united in marriage to her loving husband of nearly 70 years, Randolph “Randy” Gaskell, who survives. She leaves behind her daughters, Terri Haley, Toni Gaskell; her five 5 grandchildren, Michelle Isenbarg (d), Dawn Haley (Aaron), Kristen Haley, Natasha Burnette (Saul), David Gaskell, 9 great-grandchildren; Leah, Isaiah, Zachary, Devon, Timmy, Lo’Riayuh, Logan, Nylah, Mia, and her nieces Deborah, Karen and Linda Kay. Mickie was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Chester F. Naumowicz. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and private interment will be in Ft.
