Louise Francis Jameson

Louise Francis Jameson of Kalamazoo, Michigan, died on April 5, 2024, at the age of 78. Louise was born in Kalamazoo on June 24, 1945, to the late Charles and Marjorie (Youngblood) Hill. In 1969, Louise married James Robert Jameson II. He survives.

Louise was born and lived her entire life in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She attended and graduated from the Kalamazoo Christian School system. After high school, Louise continued her education at Western Michigan University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. 

Over the years, Louise held positions with the Upjohn Company, Westwood United Methodist Church, and Kalamazoo Christian Schools. She also dedicated 30 years to the CPA firm of Ullrey & Company.

Louise’s passions and interests were truly abundant, with family, faith, and her church being at the forefront. She enjoyed her beloved home, holidays, cooking, her family’s sporting events, gardening, and quilting.

Louise is survived by her beloved husband, James Robert Jameson II; children, James Robert (Amy) Jameson III and Jeffrey Russell (Michelle) Jameson; grandchildren, James Robert Jameson IV, Zachary Jeffrey Jameson, Allison Louise Jameson, and Reagan Bell Jameson; and nephews and nieces.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Robert Charles Hill and Maxine E. McGehee.

Visitation will be held at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 S 9^th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, on Friday, April 19, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 20, at 11:00 am at Westwood United Methodist Church, 538 Nichols Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49006. The church will be open to guests for visitation at 10:00 am, and a luncheon will follow the memorial service.
