Kevin James Darner

Kevin J. Darner, age 49 of Battle Creek formerly of Kalamazoo, died on November 10, 2022. He was born on February 27, 1973, in Kalamazoo, the son of Richard and Linda (Bushouse) Darner. Kevin was a 1991 graduate of Loy Norrix High School, where he played baseball. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served four years in the service. Following his discharge, Kevin returned to Kalamazoo. He worked as a warehouse supervisor for RPM Leadership. He was a talented bowler, achieving several 300 games. Kevin was on a league at Continental Lanes and had formerly been on a league at Eastland Lanes. Above all, Kevin cherished his daughters and supported them in all their activities and accomplishments. His family includes his daughters, Kristina Darner and her mom Michelle Darner and Kendall Darner and her mom Kim Burdick; his parents, Linda & Richard Darner; his sister, Lisa and Eric Walbeck and their children Ryan and Emily; his girlfriend, Kim Martinez and her daughter Gracie; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Friends may gather with the family on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Location, 622 S. Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, where his memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 1:00 PM.
