Keith H. Boyce

Keith Harold Boyce passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at his home peacefully with his family by his side. Keith was born in Lansing, MI on August 17, 1931, to Harold and Viola (Schultz) Boyce.

Keith married his first wife, Maryann in Lansing where they raised their two sons.  He proudly served in the United States Navy and Navy reserves for 10 years before he was honorably discharged. He also was a well-known businessman in the school bus industry as a Carpenter Distributor.

On July 25, 1997, Keith married Dorothy [Beatty-VanderKlok] who survives. Together they enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, going on trips and of course a quick stop to the casino. With that, Keith also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He also enjoyed grilling a nice steak and ALWAYS looked forward to his late-night sweet treat.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Maryann; brother, Ron, and sister-in-law Marty Boyce; son, Jeff Boyce; granddaughter, Kelly Ann Hurlburt and son-in-law, Greg Hudson.

Keith is survived by his loving and caring wife of 26 years, Dorothy; daughter, Cyndi Hudson; sons, Bill [Laura] VanderKlok and Steve [Michelle] Boyce; granddaughters, Jennifer Bailey, Nicole Nostrandt; grandsons, Chris Bailey, Ryan VanderKlok, Derek Holdridge, Ben Holdridge, Craig Boyce, and Scott Boyce; as well as several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S. 9th St, Kalamazoo MI 49007. Private interment with military honors will take place at a later date.
