Justin Vaughn Milbeck, 36, passed away suddenly on June 8, 2023 joining Zeus dog in their eternal home. He was born March 19, 1987 in Anaheim, California to Robert and Dena (Douglass) Milbeck.
Justin spent the first three years in California before his family moved to the Kalamazoo area. He earned his associate’s degree at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Justin was working at Michigan CAT and took great pride in his work. He also had a passion for buying and selling and could probably sell you anything. Justin’s laugh was infectious—family and friends remember him always smiling and cracking jokes.
Justin leaves behind his wife, Alyssa; two children Kierstin and DJ; his parents, Bob and Dena; twin sister, Erica; brother, Jason (Corey); sister, Alyssa; nieces and nephews, Hadley, Emmaline, Parker, Weston, and Walker; grandmother, Dorothy Douglass; and parents-in-law, David Zimmerman and Ronda Morales.
Justin was always so full of life—he took great pride in providing for his family. He was known for his hard-working and driven personality.
Justin enjoyed coaching his son in football and soccer, helping DJ and other young athletes grow into the best versions of themselves. He found happiness in spending time with his family, snowmobiling, riding quads and dirt bikes, and family dinner nights, where his wife’s cooking was always just “all right.”
A celebration of Justin's life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Kalamazoo Community Church, 2435 N 26th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49048. The family encourages those in attendance to wear purple and yellow or their favorite Vikings or Lakers gear to honor Justin.
Contributions in his memory may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation to honor his grandfather.
