Judy Kay (Williams) Bumpous

Passed away Thursday morning, December 15, 2022. Judy was born March 31, 1944 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Andrew and Julia (Younger) Williams.

Judy worked at Bronson Hospital until she retired in the mid to late 90’s. Thereafter, she worked at D/W and Hardings stores for many years. In her younger days, she loved bowling, sunbathing, and riding motorcycles with family including her late husband. She enjoyed talking about her younger years to everyone she met and really liked watching her favorite soap operas later in life. Judy was a devoted, lifelong fan of Elvis Presley and really loved all of her dogs.

On October 15, 1965 Judy was united in marriage to her loving husband, Wallace “Dub” Bumpous who preceded her in death on February 1, 2006. She is survived by her sons, Scott Bumpous, Glen (Shurie) Bumpous, Brian (Christa) Bumpous, Keith (Marlene) Bumpous; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister and brother, Jane Kidder, James Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
