Judith Ann (Bauman) Foote

Judith Ann Foote, a cherished resident of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Climax, passed away peacefully at her home on September 22, 2023. She was born on February 23, 1944, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to the late Edward and Mildred (Pierce) Bauman.

Judy's life was marked by her deep love for her family and her unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Brian Foote, in 2021. Judy is survived by her loving sons, Vaughn Foote and Vernon Foote; her devoted daughter, Valerie Swearengin (Chris); five cherished grandchildren; and four adored great-grandchildren.

One of Judy's greatest joys in life was her profound love for dogs. Her home was always filled with the love and companionship of her canine friends, and she extended her care and compassion to animals in need. In her memory, the family suggests donations to an animal charity or organization of your choice, continuing Judy's legacy of love for our four-legged companions.

Judy will be laid to rest at Prairie Home Cemetery in Climax on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 2:00 pm, where she will join her late husband, Brian, in eternal rest. The family invites friends and well-wishers to join them in honoring Judy's life and sharing their cherished memories.
