John W. England

   John England, age 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Don and Inez (Albertson) England and his sister, Sue (Fred) VanRavenswaay. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mical; their children, LeaAnne (Jim) Francis and Sandy (Dan) Adams. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Kristin (Mike) Breautigam, John (Jessica) Bolthouse, Jessica Fields, Tom (Kelly) Fields, Stephanie (Brett) Adler, Ben (Olivia) Bolthouse, Ellie (Sher) Hiatov, Annie Fields, Abby (Ryan) Meddaugh, and Jim Francis IV; his sister, Nancy (Jim) Sanderson; as well as 18 great-grandchildren.
   John worked for the Upjohn Company where he was a respected employee for many years.  He had many interests in life but particularly loved hunting and fishing.  He was a lifelong member of Calvary Bible Church where he served as deacon, elder and volunteered with Healthy Homes.  He also volunteered many summers at Camp Barakel.
   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, with visitation starting at 10:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 3926 S 9th Street Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Interment will take place at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park South. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries or Centrica Care Navigators, in memory of John England.
