Jeffrey Oscar Joseph

Jeffrey Oscar Joseph, age 58, of Kalamazoo passed away February 14, 2023. He was born February 2, 1965 in Kalamazoo to Oscar Lawrence and the late Judith Ann (LaPointe) Joseph.

Jeff was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College. He worked at DENSO in Battle Creek until his retirement. Jeff had an immense love for animals and would often be seen feeding local wildlife. People were drawn to Jeff for his charismatic and giving nature, making numerous friendships along the way.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Judith LaPointe in 2008.

He is survived by his father, Oscar “Larry” (Carol) Joseph of Ocala, FL; sister, Jacquelyn A. Joseph of Kalamazoo; nieces, Danielle M. (Andrew) Youngblood and Katherine L. Yale; great niece, Ashlyn M. Youngblood; great nephew, Jason D. Youngblood; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and private services for family will be held at a later date.
