James Paul Schwencer

During the morning hours of April 14, 2023, James Paul Schwencer, age 43, passed away at home. James was born May 22, 1979, to Carole (Schwencer) Lyon and Orel "Frenchy" French.

James was an amazing individual that was willing to help anyone. Friends describe him as a great person to be around, always a pain in the butt except in a fun way, and a kind soul. His family will tell you he is always ready for a laugh even at his own expense, loves fiercely and forever, and secretly a teddy bear. His boys will tell you he was always ready for trouble, lived to break the rules, and tried to be their best friend. James' wife would tell you he is her rock, her strength, her voice, and her protector. He will be missed and remembered by so many.

James leaves behind his wife, Noell Veva M. (Russell) Schwencer; three sons, James Paul (ChinaJo) Schwencer II, Caleb Arnold E. Schwencer, and Samuel Dominic Schwencer; mom, Carole (Donald) Lyon; dad, Orel French; brother, Raymond (Emily) French; sister, Tamie (Larry) Gregersen; two half-brothers, Timothy (Rhonda) French, and Terry (Dawn) French; stepsister, Donna (Anthony) Trumbull; stepbrother, Milan (Amanda) Trumbull; one stepsister, Jessica Bowers; two stepbrothers, Benjamin (Tanya) Lyon, and William (Takara) Lyon; grandmother, Helen Schwencer; and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends (also those few brousins), and in- laws.

He was proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Norm Schwencer and Merle French; grandmothers, Winifred French, Mary French, and Claira Sutfin; uncle, Steve Postula; stepsister, Candy Trumbull; and aunt, Diana (Schwencer) French.
