Iris June Agar Sinclair

Asheville – Iris June Agar Sinclair, age 98, of Asheville, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Mrs. Sinclair was born on June 19, 1925 in Cass City, Michigan. She was a housewife and mother as well as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed orchids, golf, tennis, and other hobbies. She also had a wonderful sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harry William Sinclair, and her parents, Aaron and Lillie Agar. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Agar, and her sister, Mary Agar.

She is survived by her son, Richard Sinclair and his wife, Kathleen, of Asheville; daughter, Sue Sinclair of New York; niece, Ann Kammeraad and her husband, Ken; nephew, Sam Brown and his wife, Charlotte; two grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held for Iris on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 10:00 at East Hickory Corners Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Harry.
