Hendrika "Karen" A. Clark

Hendrika "Karen" Clark, age 61, was surrounded by family when she went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Karen was born in Kortgene, The Netherlands on November 27, 1962, the daughter of Adriana De Waal and the late Leendert De Waal. Karen spent the majority of her life raising her children in Michigan before retiring in Florida. Karen was a loving mother, family member, and friend to so many. Karen is preceded in death by her father, Leendert DeWaal and survived by her mother, Adriana DeWaal, her son, Matt (Veronica) Clark, daughter, Anna Clark, brother, Oliver (Cheryl) De Waal, sister, Jenny (Joe) Meier, brother, Tony De Waal, brother, Ike De Waal, and so many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
 
The family will receive friends for a shared time for condolences before the service on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Langeland Family Funeral Home, 3926 South 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 from 11:00AM – 12:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm with Rev. H. Hofman officiating. A private family interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Texas Corners immediately following the funeral service.
