Harold Wayne Bright

Harold Wayne Bright, 83 of Allegan passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2023 at Medilodge of Kalamazoo. Harold was born at home in Allegan to the late Wayne Bright and Beatrice Stoelting Hale on December 22, 1939.

Harold worked various jobs throughout his life at the County Hospital, in factories, as a custodian in public schools and as a cashier. While serving as a custodian in Allegan schools he found joy in youth sports and always supported his local teams. He attended nearly every Allegan High School Sporting event and was proud to be a Tiger. When Harold wasn’t rooting for the students, he enjoyed bowling.

Harold is survived by his brother Ron Hale of Allegan, sister Elaine Williams of Chicago, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and brother David Bright. A private graveside service will be held for Harold at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold’s honor to the Allegan Sports Booster 1560 M 40 N Allegan, MI 49010.
