Gerald Rozanoff

June 20, 1949 — February 7, 2024

South Haven

Gerald Rozanoff, Doctor of Optometry, sadly passed away on February 7, 2024. Jerry was born on June 20, 1949. His parents, Abe and Sarah, died before him. Jerry was a resident of South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation. Jerry graduated from Michigan State University, and after completing his degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University), Jerry began practicing in Kalamazoo with David Rose, OD. He was best known as a Pearle Vision doctor and owned four locations, including one at Southland Mall in Portage, MI.

Jerry enjoyed bowling, Motown music, especially Marvin Gaye and The Temptations, playing the piano, classical, and jazz music, and was quite a talented close-up magician. He also enjoyed shoes and was always on the search for a new pair that would be fashionable and fit his narrow feet.

Jerry is survived by his sister, Anita Newman of Arizona, and his sons, Seth Aaron Rozanoff and Peter Samuel Joseph Rozanoff.

Cremation has taken place, and there is no planned funeral service.

Those who wish to donate in Jerry's memory may consider Rose Arbor Hospice, 5473 Croyden Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49009.

Baruch dayan emet. Blessed be the one true Judge. After years of suffering and unhappiness, may he rest in peace. https://www.langelands.com
