Georgella Mae Zirkelbach

Passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Georgella was born on August 25, 1965, to the late Stanley and Louise (Halliday) Zirkelbach in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Georgella enjoyed many things throughout her life. A few of her favorite activities included bowling with friends and family, riding on the back of a motorcycle, and making the best desserts at family gatherings. During her working years, Georgella started volunteering at Borgess Hospital, where she would eventually end up working as a PCA for 18 years. Every Saturday for many years, Georgella’s favorite thing was going to garage sales and shopping with her mom.

Surviving Georgella is her daughter, Joella Morris; grandson Ja'Taivion King; siblings, Stanley Zirkelbach, Jr., Joe Zirkelbach, Martha Zirkelbach, Caroline Zirkelbach; and life partner, Joel Morris, Jr. Preceding her in passing were her parents; son, Christian Zirkelbach; and her brother, Walter Zirkelbach.

To honor Georgella’s life, visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009. Following visitation, private family burial will take place at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, North. The family invites you to a Repass from 3-5:00 PM at Eagles Lodge Aerie 526, 1322 Branch St, Kalamazoo, MI 49001.
