Florence G. (Pierce) Allen

Passed away Saturday evening, June 3, 2023. Gert was born December 19, 1936 in Climax, MI the daughter of Millard and Pauline Pierce. She was employed for 29 years with Shakespeare’s; 7 years with Spearflex; and 25 years at the Harvester in Climax. She enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and bunco, and helping at the American Legion Auxiliary. Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. Especially trips to Baldwin to see her sisters, family reunions, holidays, and every day with her children and their families.

She is survived by her children, Jack (Sheila) Allen, Steve (Wendy) Allen, Pam (Jack) Peckham, Pat Allen; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Mohney; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie; and 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery in Climax at a later date.
