Ellen Lee (Dwar) Schultz

Ellen Lee Schultz (Dwar) passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023. She was born in Chicago on March 22, 1950, to Russel and Elaine (Allroth) Dwar.

Ellen earned two master’s degrees and served as a guidance counselor at Portage North Middle School.

Ellen loved nothing more than her daughter, her grandchildren and her granddogs. She especially loved spoiling her granddogs with treats. In her retirement she enjoyed gardening, reading, an occasional trip to the casino and floating in her pool. The Bahamas was her favorite vacation destination and will always be a special place for her family.

Ellen is survived by her daughter Katherine and her husband Brian, her beloved grandchildren Harper and Hadley and granddogs Benny and Khloe. She was predeceased by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Ellen to the SPCA of Southwest Michigan.
