Edna Louise Post, 99, of Mesa, AZ, born October 13, 1924 in Kalamazoo, MI to Lewis Andrew and Eva Ionia (Brown) Colvin, passed peacefully into God’s hands on February 16, 2024.

Edna served as a cook for the Lansing, Michigan School District for nearly 20 years. She was a member of Hastings, Michigan Garden Club and attended several churches over the years, including Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in Lansing, Delton United Methodist Church, and Velda Rose United Methodist Church in Mesa, AZ.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband of more than 76 years, Peter Post.  Her daughter-in-law Mary Post also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Arlene (James) Oisten; sons, Dennis Post and Arend (Judy) Post; two grandsons and two granddaughters; five great-grandsons; and three great-great grandchildren.

Edna’s family will receive guests on Saturday morning, February 24, 2024, from 10-11:30, when services will begin at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Pastor David Knapp will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church of your choice.
